Established in 1923, the University of Milan, composed today by 8 faculties, 25 degrees and 21 diplomas, is one of the most important Italian universities. More than 2000 professors and as many as technical-administrative human resources are in service for 73.000 students circa.

Description Acquisition, as images, of the whole catalogue of the Library of the Faculties of Law and of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Milan. The digitised catalogue is the copy of the old general catalogue of the library, inclusive of main cards, reference cards and cross-reference cards. The catalogue in the digitised version is the historical archive of the material arrived in the libraries of the two faculties, and the memory of the work done by librarians during the years 1925-1994.
